Quick scramble trip up to Wedge Mountain, conditions are still very spring like for this late in the season!

Quick trip to do some scrambling near Wedge Mountain. The trail is in great shape as parks has remarked it and cutout the deadfall from winter. They also repainted the outhouse which is always a bonus. There is only a little snow near the top of the trail. Snow coverage on the glacier is tremendous with few/no crevasse showing and lots of snow on the NE Arete and in the couloirs. Foot penetration was also low despite heavy rain and warm temperatures overnight. Makes for a quick summit trip if you can avoid the weather/cloud. Wedgemont Lake is still frozen!!
