This road connects to the Ring Creek Road and allows access to the Diamond Head area in Garibaldi Park and Elfin Lakes. It is also frequently used by Mountain Bikers to access Powersmart and other mountain bike trails in the area.
The road is gravel and in reasonably good condition. It is plowed in winter, but is occasionally treacherous nonetheless. Frequent traffic tends to glaze the road and chains are often required in winter. Occasional epic traffic jams from vehicle pile-ups are not uncommon.
