I drove the Downton FSR near Lillooet on August 6th and 7th. They have been working on the final sections of the road up to the forest service trailhead. You could probably drive the road with a 2wd high-clearance vehicle if you wanted. They have smoothed out a lot of the waterbars so they are easy to drive through and hopefully this will also protect the roadbed more, it was getting a little loose in spots (and still is). The trail at the end is fantastic.
