Incremental Progress
If you've been looking closely, there's been a collection of small, incremental changes to the site.
First of all, there's now a view counter at the bottom of each of the major pages (mountains, roads, routes, and trip reports). I added it to give a bit more feedback to people who do submit trip reports and other items (please do!). A thumbs up/thumbs down feature is also in the queue.
Also in this theme, there's a few "sharing" buttons at the head of each article as well, which make it easier to e-mail, print, tweet, etc. articles. It was easy to do, and hopefully will encourage writers as well.
Finally, there's a batch process that's been running for almost a week now that's querying the Google Elevation API for the approximate heights of all the mountains in the database. It's been running about five days now (Google has usage limits on the Elevation API) and is about 2/3rds done.
I'm mountain biking this weekend (Nimby Fifty!), but when I come back, I'll start uploading some of the local mountain bike trails...

Alpenglow! Now with routes!
After a bit of a long wait, I've added routes and trails to the list of items Alpenglow supports. So now climbing routes, ski routes, mountain bike and hiking trails, can all get added under the routes heading.
In the process, I also revamped the history tables (yes, there is Audit log of all the edits made to the system) and have also added page view counters to the bottom of most pages.

Status Update
Things have been quite quiet on this site lately, so I thought I should post a note just to update everyone on what's happening. I started a new job a few weeks ago, so I've been unable to devote as much time as I'd like to on the site. However, routes and trails are almost done (essentially, they're working on my development machine), so they should be up in a matter of days. I also just got back from the Garibaldi Neve, so that will probably be the first route on the list.
Hope you've all been having a good spring, and there will be some updates to this site within a few days!
